Attendance will be recorded during each seminar via a sign-in sheet. If you are unable to attend the seminar on a given week, it is your responsibility to attend a relevant alternative seminar (for instance a biochemistry, molecular genetics, or molecular life sciences seminar), then send the instructor, Felix Barber (barber.527@osu.edu), a 200-word description of the key takeaways. It is not necessary that you attend the makeup on the week of your absence, but any makeup credit should be provided before Wednesday, December 17th 2026.

If a seminar conflicts with your attendance at a relevant scientific conference, your absence will be excused and you do not need to submit makeup credit. It is your responsibility to provide documentation to Felix demonstrating conflicting conference attendance.
